Who we are...

These conversations come from years of marriage in a home filled with a hodgepodge of vocabulary and grammar from different languages and spoken by a couple born nearly two decades apart. The result? A lifetime of laughter.

Husband Speaks: Spanish, English, Spanglish, a tiny bit of Portuguese, engineering lingo, computer tech lingo, business savvy, theology, guitar, etc.
Point of Origin: Central America, 1960's

Wife Speaks: English, Spanish, Spanglish, a tiny bit of French, some medical lingo, and a cornucopia of literature references.
Point of Origin: Texas, USA, 1980's

Husband: I want to sweep your feet off.

Wife: Sweep me off my feet?
Husband: I hope I sweep your feet off every day.
